Diablo Vista Middle School Special Education Restroom

This project consists of converting a storage building on campus into a Special Day bathroom that includes a shower, changing table, and lift system. The project also consists of adding one single-occupancy restroom on campus.

Timeline and Updates

Fall 2017

The plumbing contractor is working after hours to complete the rough-in. The other contractors will wrap up any remaining work in the walls and then start placing finishes. Do to the constraints of working on a live campus next to a Special Day Classroom with students that are adversely affected by noises and smells, all work is being done after hours. Construction is approximately 70% complete and is anticipated to be substantially complete in 3-4 weeks.

Summer 2017

Installation of plumbing, electric, HVAC, and framing scheduled to begin in fall 2017.
